From 30 June 2012 until further notice, passengers departing Shanghai Hongqiao and Shanghai Pudong airports shall experience heightened security checks as both airports upgrade to Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Security Level III.

We suggest that you arrive at your departure airport more than 120 minutes prior to scheduled departure time in order to avoid any inconvenience, especially for flights scheduled to depart during the morning and evening rush hour periods.
