Unaccompanied children are those children between 5 and 12 years of age travelling without a guardian over the age of 18.
To ensure that children entrusted to Spring Airlines are cared for in an appropriate fashion we would like to draw your attention to the following:
The fare for an unaccompanied will be charged at 50% of the full adult fare; Spring Airlines is unable to provide carriage for unaccompanied children on international and regional flights;
Spring Airlines is unable to provide carriage for unaccompanied children under 5 years of age;
Spring Airlines is unable to provide carriage for unaccompanied children under the age of 12 who have a visual or hearing impairment;
The number of unaccompanied children on a flight is restricted for security reasons. An application must be lodged with Spring Airlines 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure time and receive approval before any carriage of unaccompanied children is permitted;
The Unaccompanied Children Application Form must be completed when any such booking is made;
The parent or guardian must accompany the child to the point of departure and ensure that a suitable adult is at the destination to greet the child upon arrival.
