Carry-on Baggage Limits
Baggage in excess of the size, weight, and piece limits must be checked in at the check-in counter. If you have baggage in excess of these limits at the boarding gate, it will be stored in the cargo hold as checked baggage upon payment of the prescribed fee. This also applies to items purchased after the boarding process.

Please bring your valuables such as cash, precious metals, jewellery and securities as personal items on board. For fragile items such as watches, cameras, bottles, glassware and art antiques, if it exceeds the carry-on size, weight or piece limits, please pack it properly and check it in. SPRING JAPAN will not be liable for any damages including loss or damage.
Self-injection syringes such as insulin injection and EpiPen can be used on board. Please take home used needles by yourself. Please contact our Call Center in advance for a safe and comfortable flight.
Passengers with musical instruments
Musical instruments can be brought on board if they do not exceed the size and weight limits (56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm, the sum of 3 dimensions is within 115 cm, and weight is within 7 kg).
If the instrument exceeds the carry-on size, weight or piece limits, you may check it in or purchase a seat. To purchase a seat, please contact our Call Center.
If the sum of the 3 dimensions exceeds 203 cm, we will accept the instrument as oversize baggage (charged) provided the longest side is within 277 cm and the sum of the 3 dimensions is within 320 cm. Check here for details.

Storing baggage on board
Improper storage can cause injury, obstruction of emergency evacuation and brace position, etc. For your safety and comfort, please store your baggage under the seat in front of you or in the overhead bin.

Precautions when storing baggage
Please stow baggage by yourself under the seat in front of you or in the overhead bin. Also, we would appreciate your cooperation with offering consideration for the nearby passengers when stowing your baggage.
When storing baggage in the overhead bin, make sure it doesn't slip out when you open the bin door.
The only available storage space is the overhead bin and under the seat in front of you. You cannot keep baggage on your lap or at your feet.
It is prohibited by law to place baggage in the aisle or emergency exit that would impede an emergency evacuation.
Passengers in seats without a seat in front of you (first row) and in exit row seats are requested to use the overhead bin.

A.Items purchased at duty-free shops are treated as carry-on baggage and are therefore included in the carry-on baggage allowance (7 kg). Any carry-on baggage that exceeds 7 kg at the boarding gate will be put in the cargo compartment as checked baggage and carry an extra fee.
